We are your friends in spirit and in truth

We like to follow up on posts that Suzanne is making in her other blog. We enjoyed the energy of this one in particular, the saucy feel of it. We love it when she feels good. We love it when you feel good. Your light shines to the ends of the Universe.

And we would indeed, call you Pollyanna. We can think of no higher point of view than to see the positive in everything that is, for it is always there. Why not see it and live it?

We don't have a serious message for Suzanne or for you at this time. We celebrate when you celebrate. We join in your joy. We are there for you when you call. We are with you and for you. We are the Brotherhood of the Fifth Dimension, your friends in spirit and your friends in truth.

I am struck by your words, we celebrate when you celebrate. Perhaps you can help. My teenage daughters and I are Neo-Pagan/New Agers for lack of a better box :). We all are feeling a heaviness during the holiday season. Last night my fifteen year old said," I like the idea of going to church for christmas, of being with ppl, and joining the community spirit, but I know if I went, it wouldn't be what I want." Any suggestions for us? Thanks, Anne

Welcome Anne!

When I read your message there was an immediate response from spirit and I just posted it, "Celebrate each day." It's a lovely message and I hope you find comfort there.

I would put myself in the same spiritual category that you do and can understand what you are saying. At this time, you want to find the unity and love in community and people with similar beliefs. Many are unhappy with the focus of the season so you are not alone. I'm just going to ramble a bit with the things that I have done to feel better at Christmas. And your writing makes me realize I haven't been feeling very happy now either so I'm going to look for some ways to feel better.

I'm thinking of two things. One, for the heaviness you feel in general, I could suggest starting your own traditions that celebrate what you believe. I love nature so in the past I've decorated a tree outside for birds and squirrels or donated to groups that gave special treats to animals for Christmas.

And the second, if you would like to attend a church, I could suggest Unity church. They are very positive, there is only the mention of God as Love. They talk about Christ, but may also talk about Buddha or other positive spritual teachers. I've gone to Christmas Eve services where they have a ceremony of unity such as everyone lighting a candle, and unusual and light-filled music. My church has a drumming circle every month. Each church is independent, although connected, so there may be some differences -- they're not rigid. You can find a church at: http://www.unity.org/

They have a prayer line that I use often and it is toll free. It is for anything, including the feelings you are having now. If you feel it isn't the proper subject for a call, I would just say that every call means much love is poured into the situation, and certainly in this case you are not the only one looking for a better feeling of conection, understanding, and love during the holidays. We are all connected, so it benefits everyone! What a lovely thought. The number is
1-800-669-7729

I also tried a Unitarian church a few times and loved the people there, but the service didn't talk about God. I love nature and the service was about trees and nature, they read Walt Whitman's poems, lots of wonderful things -- it just wasn't what I was looking for at the time.

I know that Source provides everything that each of us needs. I love the positive, loving information from Abraham-Hicks and my other blog, Finding my Way to Well-Being, is about my exploration of that material. So, I know that what you desire is there for you in a more beautiful way than you can dream of.

To find answers we just need to keep asking, sampling from the buffet of life, and finding out what tastes good to us.

You and your family sound so wonderful. I'm so glad to walk a bit with you on our journeys.

Namaste, Suzanne
